The 8th Separate Mountain Assault Battalion (8 RMSA, A3029, subdivision B2235) is a unit within the 10th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Established in May 2014 as a battalion of territorial defense called "Podillya" from residents of Chernivtsi region, after the all-military reformation in the fall of 2014 became a motor infantry.
