Army field summer woodland TTsKO camo cap, soviet model.
This model was at first worn by Soviet Spetznaz and called "Mabuta cap" or "Afghanka (Kepi) Cap".
The original cap design dates to the early 1970s in Soviet Union. This cap was widely used by Soviet soldiers in Afghanistan. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, in the Ukrainian armed forces have continued to use this model field caps until the present day.
Made in TTsKO camo pattern, very soundly stitched, with reinforced vent holes on each side and simulated leather sweat band. Earflaps can be hidden inside of the hat or buttoned on top or under the chin protecting face from wind, dust, sand etc.
This cap model was used in the Ukrainian army until the 2000s. In 2014, a reform was carried out and the old Soviet-style TTsKO camouflage was replaced with a digital camouflage MM-14
